Cleaner, brighter laundry and healthier water with Waterco
"We have installed Waterco’s filters whenever we purchase new properties.
We trust Waterco’s products because they are simple to use and ensure
filtered water can be accessed each time we turn on the tap."
Water quality in Malaysia, as well as access to water in general, is a significant problem.
Lakes and reservoirs serve as domestic, industrial, agricultural, hydroelectric, navigational and recreational sources of water. And, since a large percentage of the water originates from rivers, river pollution is a serious concern.
“The demand for high-quality water filtration is critical in Malaysia due to water disruption supply and ongoing pollution issues that have haunted the Klang Valley and throughout the country over the past few years,” says Waterco Regional Business Development Manager Zao Cheong Koo.
Waterco filters can operate up to 7 bar pressure rating, are hydraulically efficient and can be customised according to customer requirements,” Koo explains.
Protecting multigenerational family living in Malaysia
Several generations living together is common throughout Malaysia as it allows families to help care for the elderly, raise children and share living expenses. Grandparents can spend time with their precious grandchildren while more householders increase the chances that someone is present to assist older members should they have an accident.
“Clean water is now available throughout the house,” says Mr Rodney Lai.
While family means everything to Malaysians, nothing is more important to them than healthy water. Just ask the Lai family—all six of them—who have been relying on Waterco’s W250 residential water filter since 2003.
Waterco’s Micron W series of residential filters require minimal maintenance and provide a number of benefits, including:
• Clear water for cooking and cleaning
• Cleaner, brighter laundry
• Refreshing baths and showers
• Extended service life of drinking water purifiers
“Clean water is now available throughout the house,” says Mr Rodney Lai. “Since then, we have installed Waterco’s filters whenever we purchase new properties. We trust Waterco’s products because they are simple to use and ensure filtered water can be accessed each time we turn on the tap.”
Protect citizens from toxic contamination and water supply disruptions
Waterco recently designed a range of new filters to help combat increased river pollution and protect natural resources. These include:
• GAC Plus – uses activated carbon to remove dissolved organic matter, pesticides and chemicals
• DMI Plus – a proven, powerful catalytic water filtration media that removes iron (rust) and manganese, especially from groundwater
• ZeoPlus – the microporous structure of this mineral rock sourced from volcanic areas effectively removes ammonia. Zeoplus can also reduce chlorine demand in the water
“Waterco filters can operate up to 7 bar pressure rating, are hydraulically efficient and can be customised according to customer requirements,” Koo explains. “Depending on the filtration media loaded into the filters, they can remove many pollutants that might present inside the water.”
